Buying a Home
As your Buyer’s Agent, my goal is to not only help you find that special place called home, but to make it a smooth and satisfying experience. I am trained and experience in all aspects of real estate transactions. As your agent, I will:
- Always put your interests first.
- Identify property listings from any company in your price range that fits your requirements.
- Conduct research for you.
- Analyze market data to establish a price range for a particular property based on market conditions.
- Advise you on how to structure an offer.
- Present your offer to the seller or the seller’s agent.
- Negotiate favorable contract terms for you, based on current market conditions.
- Explain and obtain legal documents that you need for closing.
- Recommend qualified vendors, such as home inspectors and movers.
- Help you set up financing, insurance, home warranty and settlement services.
- Represent you throughout the entire real estate transaction - from start to finish.
In short, I will be your consultant and advocate. And, we will work at your pace. My clients tell me that they like the care and patience I take with them. My services will usually cost you nothing since it’s common practice in the D.C. area for sellers to compensate Buyer’s Agents.
